Um...my last journal entry was over a year ago, and that made me sad.  

Don't have much to add right at this moment, but welcome!  Hope you enjoy my crazy random scribblings and haphazard photographic snipings.  And if you do, please let me know!  Ego boosts make Lindsey smile.  

Soooo, that meme thing?  Yeah, still working on it.  But I'm actually going to start posting them now, bit by bit.  
  
So, here's the deal: each day in December was assigned a theme, and we had to do a lil sketch for each day.  I believe the idea that we should use our own characters, or our friends, as the subjects.  

So, I basically took the webcomic I've been working on, and sprite-ified everyone into a quicker-to-draw form.  Hopefully, by the way, that comic will be surfacing soon, once I've finished the meme.  Though I ended up liking the style so much I might change it over permanently.

I'll be posting them a few at a time, as I tidy them up.
There are five characters, all anthropomorphic personifications.  In these sprite versions, they each have some sort of symbol on their shirts.  There's War (sword), his girlfriend Insanity (double exclamation points), Confusion (question mark, of course), Death (Omega), and Doom (storm cloud).  Basically, the idea is that they are all students, living on campus and working as their personification.  Death and War are traditional Horsemen of the Apocalypse - the other two are floating around somewhere, and might pop up in the actual comic, but they don't appear in the meme.  

I know everyone and their mother seems to use Death as a character these days, but it had to be done.  I'm hoping I'll succeed in putting my own twist to the idea.  Bear with me!

It's been a looooooong time since I've posted anything new, my most robust apologies for this sad state of affairs.  It's winter break, and being home gives me time to WORK on lots of new art, but makes it hard for me to POST anything new, because of compy/internet/scanner situations.  Plus, the weeks just before break began were filled to the brim with horrifying projects and tests that were nearly the end of me!


HOWEVER!

The holidays have come and (nearly) passed, and left me with a lot of fun things to play with - a TABLET (Wooooooooooo!) and PRISMA MARKERS (eeeeehehehehe!)!  I've been slowly trying things out, and I'm having a blast.  

Additionally, my friends and I agreed to do an art meme over the month of December (check out the details at 's page.   is doing it too, though she doesn't have anything up yet for it.  But feel free to check out her page anyway!).  I'm terribly behind on the meme, especially since we started late, but I've managed to churn out a few sketches.

So... lots of fun new stuff coming soon!

So, I've got a new piece up - been working on this one for a while.  I had a lot of time to kill when I had my wisdom teeth pulled last week.  I'm really pleased with the way itr turned out, try a lot of new things.  

I have another piece in the same style coming up, but I havent started coloring it yet.  In the meantime, I'm thinking about uploading some of my old photos.  I haven't messed around with a nice camera for a while - but I have some older pieces that I never uploaded. There will be stuff from the Flower Fields and from my trip to Ireland  a few years back - and I'll probably have a few available as prints. So keep an eye out!
